Dessinateur, lithographe, graveur, éditeur et photographe qui publia des ouvrages chez Firmin-Didot Frères. IL fut collaborateur de Nicéphore Niepce avec qui il échangea son savoir-faire, ce qui donna lieu à l'élaboration de plusieurs oeuvres.
